We are searching for a Fashion Photographer.
Our New York office has a new emerging fashion brand client that wants us to produce a wide variety of photographic images. The brand that we`re working on is "urban" in outlook but has significant crossover appeal. Our job is to keep its street appeal but to expand its possibilities with the crossover market. You will be working on the following:
- Product shots
- Look book
- Campaign shots
As this is an emerging brand our budget is $500 photography day rate fee inclusive of equipment rental. We will have an additional small budget for studio rental (under $500).
You will:
- Have established relationships with the top tier New York based modeling agencies and be able to access "new faces" without modeling fees. We will not shoot photos of models who are not professionally represented by a significant and prominent agency
- Have a solid portfolio of fashion shots
- Need motivation with small budget projects
- Need to have experience dealing with design and branding firms and taking detailed creative direction. This is extremely important as they are not editorial shots. They need to be specific to the brand look and feel direction set by our creative team. This is not to say that we are not open to creative ideas about how to execute these photos, but you will be working as an important component of our team
- Need to have direct contacts with hair, make-up, wardrobe that can work on small fee projects

- ABSOLUTELY NO PORTFOLIOS TO BE SENT TO OUR OFFICE!!! YOU WILL BANNED. BANISHED. Last time we did this we had a nightmare of over 500 portfolios and a receptionist who threatened to quit. Please. Seriously.

We`re happy to receive online submissions for portfolios that show styles beyond this specific job although realistically most of our projects are within the similar budget framework.
